Turkish poet Nazım Hikmet passed away on June 3rd, 1963 when he was 61 in exile, but his words live on. Well, the world can be a strange place, and my support system—books and cats and all the lovely people in my life— is all that matters. 🌈 Still basking in the light of Small Worlds… Coming out in July 2023: add Caleb Azumah Nelson’s upcoming novel to your reading list!
